“The Warning” a lesson in language
Oh, now he's all mad.
I wanted to post “The Warning” lyrics, by Eminem, but this is a family site. I have provided a link to “The Warning” lyrics at the end of this post, but consider yourself warned. In usual Eminem style, “The Warning” lyrics have more cuss words than regular words.
OK, technically that is not true, but you get what I mean. And what is the word for a word that’s worse than a swear word? Well, whatever it is, it’s got those too.
Eminem disses Mariah Carey after ego is bruised
So for the duration of “The Warning” lyrics, Eminem disses Mariah Carey. He makes his reason clear from the very first line, “Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me.” This refers to a previous “Eminem disses Mariah Carey” incident.
Much like the fees on a short term loan grow when you borrow more money, Eminem’s ego seems to grow the more he imagines it is being challenged. Eminem appears to have gotten it through his head that Mariah dissed him in her music video for “Obsessed.” I should probably watch it so I can see what he is talking about, but I just don’t think I can stomach a Mariah Carey video this early in the day.
The Warning lyrics show Eminem’s arrogance
Mariah says that Eminem is not referenced, dissed or in any way involved with her video. So perhaps this is all in Eminem’s head? Either way, he seems to have made up his mind and “The Warning” lyrics show Eminem’s feelings toward Mariah Carey in no uncertain terms.
So I guess Eminem is just out to show the world that you can make a career out of picking fights. Eminem has been out of the moneymaking business for a while, but now he is back with a vengeance. He’s about to make a killing on “The Warning.” His fans are still loyal, and anyone who dislikes Mariah Carey very well might become an Eminem fan after reading “The Warning” lyrics.
Eminem disses Mariah Carey’s husband, too
I am sure Mariah Carey is flattered that Eminem dedicated an entire song to her, but married couples are supposed to share everything, and in this case, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are sharing Eminem’s wrath in “The Warning” lyrics.
He says Nick Cannon should get a career in “The Warning” lyrics, and I’d say Eminem is aiming for an overall dissing by association. It’s a good thing that libel law is different when applied to celebrities and public figures, because Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey can’t sue him. Not that they need the money. I’m sure between the millions Mariah Carey made on ”Glitter” and Nick Cannon’s neverending revenue from “Drumline” they’ll be financially set for a while.
Does Nick Cannon need a career?
Nick has been making money since he was a teenager in a rap duo. He is still bringing home the bacon thanks to this year’s film “The Killing Room,” though he doesn’t have a starring role. He is also working on a film called “Extra Protection” that doesn’t yet have a release date.
